Trust and safety

Report a problem

FameX's name must never be linked to a scam. If something on FameX looks like fraud, impersonation, harassment, unlawful content, or puts a minor at risk, tell us. A person reads every report.

How to report

  • On the page itself. Every public Fame Profile and every brief on the opportunities board has a Report link. Pick a reason and, if you like, say what happened. Reporting a profile needs no FameX account.
  • By email. Write to hey@famex.ai with the link to what you are reporting and why. Use email for anything that has no Report link, and for a complaint about a decision we made.

What happens next

  1. Your report reaches the FameX moderation queue. Nothing is removed automatically.
  2. A person reviews it. If it breaks the law or FameX's rules, we take it down. A removed profile loses its public page and booking link and brands can no longer find it or send it new offers. A removed brief leaves the opportunities board and takes no new interest or offers. Two things a takedown does not reach yet: an identity card image a creator shared themselves, and offers a brand sent before its brief came down.
  3. If a decision was wrong, the person affected can write to the contact below and we look at it again. A takedown can be reversed.

We do not tell anyone who reported them, and we do not tell a reporter about anyone else's reports.

In what time

  • Unlawful content, or a minor's safety: these go to the top of our review queue. India's IT Rules set removal windows as short as 3 hours for flagged unlawful content.
  • Every other complaint: the IT Rules require us to acknowledge it within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days.

Grievance Officer

A named Grievance Officer is being appointed and will be listed here. Until then, every grievance goes to hey@famex.ai, which a person at FameX reads.
