Terms of Service.

FameX runs the website at famex.ai and the FameX app ("FameX", "we", "us"). How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Creators of any age may use the coach. If the date of birth you give us says you are under 18, FameX asks you for a parent or lawful guardian, emails them a link that explains what FameX does, and asks them to confirm or refuse. You can see the answer under Account and send the email again from there.

While you are under 18, nothing about you is public on FameX:

• you cannot publish a Fame Profile or appear in search, and brands cannot find you;
• you cannot join the marketplace, take collabs, or license a creator twin;
• you can read the feed and react to it, but you cannot post, comment or write reviews;
• you never appear on the wins stream, named or unnamed.

If your parent or guardian refuses, or later withdraws their consent, Tara stops for you at once, we tell you, and your account is deleted 7 days later. They can change their mind before then. If the person at the address you gave says they are not your parent or guardian, nothing is recorded against you and we ask you for the right address. Changing your date of birth later does not lift these rules: you are treated as an adult once you turn 18 by the first date of birth you gave. From 13 May 2027, when India's rules on a parent's consent come into force, FameX will not go beyond creating your account until your parent or guardian has confirmed it.

Brands use a separate brand account. A brand account must be opened by an adult who is allowed to act for the business.

FameX is an AI coaching and identity tool. It reads what you share and what you let it read, reflects how you come across, and suggests next steps toward who you want to become. Its coaching, readouts and predictions are guidance, not guarantees: they are measured relative to your own past and they are probabilities. FameX does not promise follower growth, reach, virality, brand deals or income, and it is not a substitute for legal, financial, medical or mental-health advice.

You can start without signing in, and sign in with an email address and password (or another sign-in option we offer) to keep your work. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for telling us the truth, including your date of birth. Keep your sign-in details to yourself.

If you connect a social account (such as Instagram), you let FameX read your profile and recent content through that platform's official API and, only when you ask, publish to your own account. You can disconnect at any time, which ends that access.

Separately, if you give us a handle and confirm that the profile is yours or that you have permission to analyse it, FameX may read a bounded snapshot of what the public can see: for Instagram through our public-data provider, Apify, and for YouTube through Google's official YouTube Data API. Where it is switched on, Apify also reads the public identity, counts and recent public text of a Reddit, Threads or X handle. A snapshot is not an account connection, cannot see private insights or get past a private profile, and may be incomplete. Submit only profiles you are allowed to have analysed.

Tara is FameX's one AI voice. What Tara and FameX's other AI features write is made by an AI model and can be wrong or incomplete. Use your own judgement before you act on it; you are responsible for what you post or do.

• Scripts a brand writes in FameX's AI studio, and reels made from them, carry a visible "AI-generated" label. Reels show an original, fictional presenter. FameX never generates the face, body or voice of a real person.
• A creator twin is text only: an adult creator with a published Fame Profile may let brands they accept have ad scripts written in their voice. The creator approves each one and can pause or end the licence at any time.
• Do not remove a label FameX adds, or present AI-written content as written by a person.

Live voice calls with Tara are free for everyone and never use credits. To keep them working for everyone, they have fair-use limits: up to 10 calls started a day per account, and a limit on how quickly calls can be started from one network address.

• The wins stream is opt-in and off by default. It shows short cards FameX writes about real events in your account, such as a post you marked as posted. You are named on a card only if you joined and have a published Fame Profile. Leaving deletes your cards.
• Adults who have joined the stream may write posts and comments. After a collab, each side may write one review of the other, and the side reviewed may post one response.
• Every post, comment, review and response is checked before anyone else can read it. Text that breaks our rules is refused, and text we could not check is held for a person to review.
• You can report anything on the feed or in a review. We may hide or remove content, and limit or suspend an account, under these terms or the law.

Brands can find only adult creators who chose to be found, and see what those creators chose to show. A collab is an agreement between the brand and the creator. FameX provides the workspace (messages and file uploads), but it is not a party to the agreement and does not hold, move or collect money for either side. Upload only files you have the right to share.

You agree not to:

• use FameX for anything illegal, harmful, deceptive or abusive;
• harass, threaten, impersonate or mislead anyone, or share anyone's private details;
• scrape, reverse-engineer, resell or try to extract data from FameX, or get around its limits and security;
• submit another person's profile for analysis without their permission or another lawful basis;
• upload or post content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes anyone's rights;
• give a false date of birth, or name someone as your parent or guardian who is not.

FameX does not take payments today. Some features use credits from a free monthly allowance. Credits have no cash value and cannot be bought, sold or transferred. If FameX starts taking payments, we will update these terms, and the prices and any renewal terms will be shown to you before you pay anything.

You keep ownership of the content and information you give FameX. You give FameX a limited licence to process it to provide the service to you (for example, to build your Digital Mirror and coaching) and, for anything you choose to make public, to show it where you chose. The FameX app, the Tara character, and our brand and software remain ours.

FameX is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee any outcome, including follower growth, reach, virality, brand deals or income. A performance readout is shown relative to your own past, never as an invented benchmark or a promise. We do not guarantee that FameX will always be available or free of errors.

As far as the law allows, FameX is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for outcomes that depend on your own choices or on platforms and algorithms outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

You can stop using FameX and delete your account at any time under Account. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or use FameX in a way that risks harm to others or to the service. Sections that by their nature should continue after that (such as ownership, the disclaimers and the limitation of liability) continue to apply.

We may change these terms as FameX changes. We will update the effective date above and, for a significant change, take reasonable steps to tell you before it applies. If you keep using FameX after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Our Grievance Officer is Samik Pandit, at grievance@famex.ai. You can raise a complaint, including about content on FameX, on our grievance page, which shows the current officer and how complaints are handled. We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 7 days.
